The Summoner series of speakers are designed and made by Edward of Adelaide Speakers Design. These custom cabinets are my concept and design built using drivers, crossovers and to specifications supplied by Edward. The front bass cabinet baffle is difficult reinforced concrete. The ribbon tweeter and mid range driver are housed in solid concrete tubes, which sit upon a plinth of Blackwood and industrial wool felt. The Summoner series of speakers are highly regarded Audiophile speakers. They use uppermost quality components and Edward himself has spent many years developing and honing the crossovers and theories that make these speakers work. My aim was to make a cabinet that was both visually stunning, and one that enhanced the driver performance. The addition of concrete as a cabinet material provides excellent isolation. There is splendid clarity and separation, with insignificant or indeed no box coloration.
