Excelling in christ, excelling in education one college - two campuses morphett vale campus - aldinga campus in the heart of the southern fleurieu peninsula. The senior secondary centre at morphett vale saw a major 'facelift' over the 2010 christmas/new year break. Morphett vale has a newly developed resource centre which was officially opened in early march 2010. 2011 saw the completion of a new hall/gym and science facility also at aldinga thanks to funding from the federal government. In 2012 we saw the completion of a hospitality trade training centre at aldinga campus. The facilities at both campuses continue to be developed. Both campuses provide safe and engaging learning environments and an extensive and comprehensive learning program. Our goal is to produce graduates who go out into the world with passion, skills, confidence and enthusiasm. Academic achievement is highly valued, spiritual maturity, but equally so are godly character development, responsible citizenship and opportunities for leadership. We see each young person as unique and made in the image of god. Senior school programs are tailored to the needs of each student and include pathways to both university and tafe as well as into apprenticeships and employment. Our teachers are highly qualified in their particular fields of expertise and seek to offer a caring and safe learning environment for your children. Each one is a committed christian with a calling to serve the children and families of the college. Our staff are passionate and dedicated. We are truly blessed. From humble beginnings, the college has grown to what it is today - an r-12 college of 700 students across two campuses. In the Primary at Southern Vales Christian College each child is valued as a gift from God, with unique qualities and gifts to offer. SVCC values and celebrates the unique creativity of students across all curriculum areas. The annual Original Arts Design Extravaganza celebrates the unique creativity of students across all curriculum areas. Primary and Lesser Sports Days are held each year and it is a well attended community event. We value the opportunity for students to develop their leadership, teamwork, endurance and fitness as healthy as having a huge time developing a sense of community and school spirit. We also value each student as God’s gift to our community.
