After successful completion of Certificate II in Animal and Laboratory Techniques, I began grooming animals at a grooming salon situated in Willunga, at Gilles Plains TAFE in 2003, South Australia. After only 6mths I was then running a second shop for the owner down at Encounter Bay. I successfully ran the shop for 2 1/2 years prior to taking time off to have my son. The shop had built up such a large clientel while i had been managing it, that the owners were then able to sell the second shop at Encounter Bay. After relocating to Morphett Vale after having my son, I then worked for a grooming business in Christies Beach for 2 1/2 years. There i was trained to wash, dry and clip all breeds of dogs cats and rabbits to a very high standard, using professional equipment such as a hydrobath and blow dryers. (more).
