After a negative experience with a pet cremation service, Melanie was left holding an urn containing ashes she could only trust were those of her beloved fur-angel, Oakley-Bean. Her sense of peace shattered, Melanie wanted to provide pet owners with the comfort that had been taken away from her. In September 2013, the business expanded to Adelaide, allowing Melanie to offer more pet owners a personalised experience, with a caring, one-on-one service. An animal lover all her life, and a strict vegetarian/vegan from the age of 15, Melanie is proud to provide pet owners with a dignified, loving, and trusted service, and treats every pet as if it were her own. Jason came to Angel Ashes in 2010 after he and Melanie were married. Also a passionate animal lover and vegan, he has become the backbone of the company and helped it to grow and expand.
